I hope this finds you well and enjoying the summer!

As you probably know, I have been working behind the scenes for the past four years to bring a certain idea to fruition: a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of sexual exploitation and the promotion of healthy sexual development. We have made considerable strides over the past twelve months, and have kicked into overdrive this summer. We are incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated board of directors, trusted advisors, and new staff members with the expertise and energy it will take to propel this initiative to the next level.

So, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to celebrate with us as we officially launch iOppose! Our event will be held this Saturday and Sunday, and will be similar to that of an open house – only in my garden. It will also coincide with the Garden Walk – we purposely timed the event so if you want to take advantage of this wonderful neighborhood tradition, you can do so before joining us. Refreshments will be served, and while I certainly want to use the opportunity to get the word out about our mission, the focus will be on celebrating our accomplishments and looking ahead (in other words, I promise not to lecture you!).
